Whether you are a new or returning member of the Chamber Players Orchestra, you have the opportunity to be part of a very exciting series of performances under the baton of Michail Gelfandbein!
Chamber Players Orchestra for the 2017-18 Season!
Dr. Michail Gelfandbein, Conductor
Regular rehearsals on Mondays, 4:30-6:15pm in Palo Alto
Conductor Gelfandbein received his degree in cello performance from the Leningrad Conservatory of Music, with post-graduate study in conducting with renowned teacher Ilya Musin.
Chamber Players is a beginning level orchestra for strings, winds, and brass. In addition to full orchestra, students receive weekly sectional coaching from Dr. Gelfandbein and Debra Gardner, Director of Winds.
Important dates to note: The Chamber Players Orchestra begins the season with seating auditions on Monday, August 28 (Winds and Brass), and Tuesday, September 5 (All Strings) in Palo Alto (regular rehearsals are Mondays). Music and appointment information will be mailed to your home in June. The first regular rehearsal and Parent Meeting is September 11.
Registration is due by May 14th!

Your position in Chamber Players Orchestra for next season is not secure until you have completed all forms and made all necessary payments.
As we have a waiting list for many positions, please kindly inform the Office at (650) 213-7111 or firstname.lastname@example.org immediately if you do not plan to enroll in ECYS next season.

qualify for Intermediate Chamber
Orchestra, while experienced wind players should enroll in Chamber Winds. This is an optional program for members and non-members. More info >>
