John Eells, Conductor of the Sinfonietta Orchestra!

ECYS is delighted to announce the appointment of John Eells as Conductor of the Sinfonietta Orchestra for the 2015-2016 Season. Mr. Eells joins ECYS after a long and successful career as an educator and professional conductor in Connecticut. His family has now relocated to California, and we are thrilled to welcome John to the ECYS faculty!

Conductor Eells is already planning an ambitious program of works that will challenge and involve all sections of the orchestra. His vision includes great traditional classical masterworks from Beethoven and Mozart, but also balances in favor of more robust works that will satisfy a fully orchestrated symphony orchestra.
