Upcoming Activities & Events


February 7, 2015 - 4:00pm, Flint Center, Cupertino

Celebrate the Year of the Sheep with the Senior Symphony, Dr. Jindong Cai, Conductor, renowned erhu soloist Jiebing Chen, and featuring the California Youth Chinese Symphony! The spectacular East meets West program also features the Sinfonietta Orchestra, Dr. Camilla Kolchinsky, Conductor, and violin soloist Jonathan Lin. 

Program highlights include: The Butterfly Lovers Concerto with Jiebing Chen, erhu soloist, The Spring Festival Overture by Li Huanzhi, Offenbach's Parisienne, and Sarasate's Ziguenerweisen, Jonathan Lin, violin.

2015-2016 AUDITIONS

ECYS is accepting audition applications for the 2015-16 Season! Current ECYS members should use the Promotion Audition form in the "Members Only" section of the website. Aspiring members should see the "Auditions" section for Requirements, FAQs, and the Application.

Musicians ages 6 to 20 are invited to make an audition appointment with ECYS. Candidates must study with a private teacher and have had at least one year of lessons to be considered for placement. There are openings at all levels for all instruments! Apply today! Appointments will be mailed out in February.

Auditions will be held in March and early April. Prepare accordingly!
